I played pachinko once with my dad about 10 years ago right across the street from the JR Sugamo line station when my parents visited me for a week when I lived in Japan. It was smelly, and loud. My father bought him and I 500 yen (5 dollars) worth of pachinko balls. I turned mine into about 80 dollars and cashed it in for random crap. . . . I remember at one point telling the guy next to me that he could take over for me because I was over the smell....
Today I find this vintage machine at what is now my favorite antique store in Bloomington.
Ultra classy ash tray
