Xe Máy Độ-Xe Máy Độc: Swap

Barber Vintage Festival Volume 3: The paddocks

This is the whole compound.
Way too much to cover in a day.

Volume 3 comes mostly from the silver in the middle.
The Paddocks.
Paddock pass.
What is your duty?
...to have fun.
Sidecar races will always fascinate me.
One day?
I focused on the 160/200 class.
We spent a lot of time talking with the guys from Vicious Cycle.
The only way to learn.
http://www.viciouscycle.com/cb-160/
They have the #1 and 2 racers in this class.
Humble, down to earth fellows that didn't mind answering my stupid noob questions....
...for like an hour......
I may not ever give you a run for your money but I hope to see you out there next year.

 CB450
 CB350

Looks like we need to find an XS650 engine for the Sidecar race build, right Z?
 Vicious dudes in the back.
Vroom in the front.

ahhh....I got my fix for now.
Back on the trolley.
And back to the swap for the second run-through.
The track here is supposed to be the best in North America.
Comes with the bail of hay.
But not the vulture.
 Lawn ornament.
 Righteous Redneck action.
Old boy must have sold his SB350 dream.

 Looks like a bug.
I want to ride a bike with these tires on it sometime....

 My kind of sidecar race.
 Long 2 days.
Booty Loot.

Era correct. Ppppft!

or a pile of overpriced odds and ends.
Somebody does need to pick up some frames....Go Hutch!

Helmet to match the Pony.
Old Bates style P-pad and headlight.
Sissybar back rest.
Could have been better<->Could have been worse

Shine like Gold.

Martinsville swap meet

Got my junk buying on but held back on a lot of stuff.

This is a C95 from Canada.
It looks a lot like my CA95 Dream.

I want to make something nasty out of one of these someday.

Somebody beat me to making this thing nasty.
I wonder when it was made....

Marion County swap 2012

Mostly harley shmarley.
Had some gems for all though.
Switches, signs, tools, an old guy with stories of hopping trains and stealing fire extinguishers.
Bert and his boys, Grant, Gunnar, Ben, and the normal indy see-everywhere's.
Even saw Ichiro who got a nice deal on a springer set up.
Z and I went and I dropped and grabbed my Insight from the glass repair shop.

Can't miss it......

Saw this on the way out.
69 305 Honda Dream.
Rusted in all the wrong places.
After market front junk and hard saddlebags.
Says he rides it all the time (with a license plate from 1979...right....)
Could be yours today for 2500.

Japanese Motobike Gold

Lebanon Swap restored my faith.
Tim, Hutch and I bright and early.

The theme was helmets.
I have a tiny skull......
The two helmets in the middle fit perfect, the one on the left was a little big but cheap.
The Bellmoto helmet fit nice too!

This is in such great condition...not a spot of grease on it!
I might scan and post pages from this on here......
