Honda CB 360 Tune up

Friday = Bike and yoga day

With the first round of yoga finished.....it's time for this.

This will be done today.

Heating up the O.R. as I type.

On to Bloomington to pick up a CL160 and a GN400.

Then back to work on Jessy's bike.

This is what you do to an engine before you clean it up.

Make sure everything works right, duh.

I am STILL waiting on a gasket but it is supposed to be in today.

This is 30 minutes of progress....

This will be done today.

After that a quick trip to Bloomington to pick up a CL160 and a GN400.

Then back to work on Jessy's bike.

Parts pick up.

This is probably why the individual who sold this to me gave up...

The points plate was cranked down un-centered...

Fall break - 6

  Worked in the garage all day........  

Taking my engine out to gary to put a new top end/hotter cam and fresh head gasket in for next season.

He has agreed to take the time to take the time.  

 Got the cb360 running and riding today.  

The left point was grounding out on the cover and making us really mad for a minute...

I took these within minutes of each other.

 Cb360....

Got the carbs cleaned, rebuilt, and installed with new pod filters.  Made a stand alone harness sort of thing just to start the bike and found that the points were missing 3 screws.... the person we got this bike from really had no clue.....set the point gap and got it started with the help of the redneck gas tank then set the timing.  Bike sounds good....  best sounding 150 dollar bike yet.

Fall break - 4

Over it.

Seen worse but never from human error.  

Somebody tried to rebuild....then forgot parts and boogered up a bunch more.  

Pray to cycle gods that CRC2 has some extra jets, etc that don't come with the carb kits.

I love the new Mogwai EP.

Translating, rattle can painting, bike riding, dog walking, oil changing, goodwill going, pizza eating......

 What is mozzy thinking?  At this exact time moyou was laying collapsed on the kitchen tile.   Odd.

 Decided to be lazy and go with the original patina.... 

The frame and all parts I will be putting back on are painted and ready.  Now if my engine guy would just get his crap back in stock....

 Oil leak ghost.  A collaboration between Zach and I believe a cb500 owned by Grant.

Sometimes you have to go to Ohio

For a cb360.  Good compression, title, a hundo and a half.

This one's for the motorcycle medic.

 It was nice visiting I guess.  

Loving Hut, bike cops, and dudes that think it is impossible to sell a bike after the sun goes down.

Don't worry Ohio, we'll be back probably sooner than later.
