Post test weld
My brother always said most of the time spent welding is in the prep
Moyou agrees

Tapped the frame instead of welding in the bung
These old Ariel frames have thick tubing.....
Still needs cleaned up and a leak tacked up
Next is the sissy bar and tail/brake lights
Next two weeks?

Jessy, Stephanie, and Derek

Done for tonight.

Left is stock with about 3000 miles I think.....
Right has a big bore kit, was raced, and smokes worse than a Chris's Kawasaki triple.

Moyou couldn't figure out where the engine went.

Right before chopping the knob off for chain clearance.

Night shot.

Riding around in the alley before sunset tomorrow?

The pony and something for sale.

Coming along.
I didn't realize how short the wheel base was going to be.
Time to put in the good engine and start making some decisions.

I want to sell this!
Craftsman belt sander.  9 inch disc, 8 inch adjustable upright.
It works great, I just got a new one when I was picking a few months ago.
Trying to get what I paid for it back, 75 bones.
Know anyone that is interested?

The pony gettin' worked.

Lilac bush is finally flowering after 2 years in the ground.

Pony mock up (just for fun)

Hub with the rivets drilled out to 8mm and sprocket popped off.

Stock sprocket.

This is an old XL350 aluminum race sprocket.
I need to drill some new holes and have the inside milled out.
