Xe Máy Độ-Xe Máy Độc: garage

Winter.....whatever.

Just in time.
All organizing supervised by Moyou.

Stripped and left for dead.
Moyou was using the spice.
Dune.
This is about as chopper gold as it gets around here.
 CB160 swingarm Vs. CL175 Swingarm.
Brass bushings.................Plastic bushings
18 inches...........Length...........18.5 inches

CB175 has axle run extends .5 inches farther back.
Shock mounts are the same distance out.
(Same as a cb77 also)
Conclusion:
Get better bushings for the CL175 swingarm.
 Just in time.
Come on 2 hour delay.....

Venomous spiders....

Ever since that last one sent me to the hospital I have been weary of these sneaky sneakers.

 This one isn't venomous though...I don't think.

1966 Honda CL160 run Part 2: The clean up.

Moyou supervising the tear down and organizing of parts into totes.

Tons of good parts on this CL160.......
I think I am going to set it up for AMA racing with just enough light to be legal.

 Perfect Dirt.
I will go see Gary on this one.

I would have bought just the CL160 for the price I paid.
These gold snowflake rims were the icing on the cake.
Came with the triple tree and all parts.
35mm forks......hmm......

I am going to take a few things off this Suzuki GN400 engine....
The exhaust will be reworked to lengthen the Pony header.
All the brake components will be saved for use with the snowflake rims.
Covers, levers, and engine stripped and probably........sad to say but.....--->ebay.

Snow day

Blizzard Smizzard

 Monon for miles

This is a long walk for someone with nothing to think about.
Get it?

Snow angel
H&M's

This is what I was searching for.

Anytime is a good time for some ramp time.
Even if you aren't skating.

Deck's finished.

The project 360 got some long overdue love
Ordering parts tonight?
Tune, hook up to the IV, check compression and listen to the engine run.
.......before I put money or anymore time into it.

Workshop Day 6 - The OR gets power...

Ditch diggin' with 模様。
Moyou is an expert digger so she supervised the trench.

"Make sure this green tomatoe doesn't get buried...I want to eat it later when you aren't looking."
-Moyou

"Yes, you may bury the tube now." -Moyou

"Well done."- Moyou

Put that away....

Jim 'n Tim

Plugged and ready for play.
Hang the heater, run the sealing plugs, and bench lights.
Then it will be time for some insulation, sheeting, and paint.

CT90 time

CT90 Engine swap with a low mile Mid-ohio bought engine.

Fancy lift....30 bucks on CL.

The new engine had some chain issues.
I had to take off the stator side engine cover to get to the sprocket.

High-Low gears making things difficult.

All buttoned back up.
I was about to go back in the house when I heard a little voice inside my head....
always finish what you start.
Okay, dad.
I put it in the frame and came inside.
It's been a while since I went to bed smelling like grease.
Looks like it might be garage season again.

Tomorrow?  Hook up everything and start cleaning the carb I bought with this engine....

Lake Lemon with Hutch

Lazy Sunday.

Hutch on the highway pegs.
Indiana Corn.

Lake Lemon.

Spillway.

Looking for trouble in the water.

This was one of those days where I could have just stared at the clouds all day.

I come home for a second, leave to get new brake light bulbs and this is what I come home to.
Don't ask don't tell?

Welcome

The newest member of the family.
1965 Honda S65 Sport 65.

Hugh?

Oh, yeah.
