Bikes of Japan part 1

They should sell these in the states.....

Love it.

This is Indiana
No So. Cal.

Kind of thrown together but fun.

Golden Monkey!

C110 tank on a mini bike.  What is this?

It's nice to see this happens in Japan too.  The VIN is still on there though.....

I actually saw quite a few old triumphs out year.

MXMXM bikes.  Both Bratstyle builds.

Rainy day Benly.

Less is more.

Some people make me want to quit the human race.

Mr. M says it's just -->火の粉をかぶった

Unavoidable misfortune.

This literally means sparks flying everywhere.

It can be used when something happens to someone and it wasn't their fault and there was nothing they could do to avoid it or prepare for it.

Some people just make everyone around them feel uneasy.

Sparks flying.  Unavoidable misfortune.

Some people are socially inept.

I know what I could have done to avoid it though.

There is always something that could have been done.

After it has happened, there is nothing you can do but accept that it happened and not let it effect you more than it already has.

Another tip from Mr. M.

考え込まないで、忘れた方がいい。

Let's turn this into a lesson on life.

Someone I know said it best.

L e s s   i s   m o r e.

Apply this to people that you let into your life.

The fewer people you let in, the better you know them and closer you can be to them.

The thinner you spread yourself out by "knowing" many people the more likely you are to end up wasting your life dealing with people that don't deserve your time.

This is where opening up to new people and being nice and trying to help out a friend got me.

The sad part is I am half talking about myself.

Socially awkward.  Socially inept.

Time to go back in my cave for a while.

Everybody wins.

Mt. Takao~~!

Mt. Takao was one of the best places we went.
I would recommend this to any Tokyo traveler.
Don't come here though if you want to see monkeys in their natural habitat though....they were all in cages...BOOO!

S65 Day One

Day one.
Strip it down and see what needs replaced.
Engine parts seem hard to find so I might just swap in an engine for now.
Cleaned mouse house remains out of the pressed frame for about an hour...
which unfortunately means the wiring is probably toast.

Dessie and Moyou

Moyou and Dessie.
Chapter one.
Will they be friends?

The first hug.
Looking good so far.

Moyou suggests an activity and....

...0ff they go on an adventure!
Moyou let her get a little ahead but watched out for any danger that could come their way.

Tired from the journey, they stop to rest on a grassy hill.

Moyou, concerned about Dessie's well-being, checks her feet to make sure the bi-pedal motion will continue without fail.

What is that?
You love me too?

Nap time!

Welcome

The newest member of the family.
1965 Honda S65 Sport 65.

Hugh?

Oh, yeah.

White tank look

Both white covers for my C110 were in, so I put them on to have a peak at what it would look like. I am planning on changing the color of the bike to red, but I couldn't decide what color the tank and covers should be.
Lucky I have an extra tank and almost 2 complete sets of covers in white and red, so I will be able to choose when everything is painted.

"Small" ride

Last weekend I couldn't sleep, at about 4:30 sunday morning I decided to go and do something, so I took the BMW for a small ride.
Over a 1000km's for a cup of coffee under the eiffel tower, there and back in one day. Paris traffic is a disaster, but it was great to have done this.

Cataract falls video

So I also took some video while I was there since it was so empty.
Since it hasn't been raining at all lately the river was pretty low which doesn't make for the best action but it does make it easier to cross and walk under it...
