Xe Máy Độ-Xe Máy Độc

Stolen

..from the internet somewhere.
Total concept might be a little off on some of these bikes.
There is at least one thing on each that caught my eye though...
For better or for worse?

Good angles...

Sick....Barefoot in 1975...

Tail/brake lights?

CT90 time

CT90 Engine swap with a low mile Mid-ohio bought engine.

Fancy lift....30 bucks on CL.

The new engine had some chain issues.
I had to take off the stator side engine cover to get to the sprocket.

High-Low gears making things difficult.

All buttoned back up.
I was about to go back in the house when I heard a little voice inside my head....
always finish what you start.
Okay, dad.
I put it in the frame and came inside.
It's been a while since I went to bed smelling like grease.
Looks like it might be garage season again.

Tomorrow?  Hook up everything and start cleaning the carb I bought with this engine....

Ideas

I have had one of these in the back yard for a while.......

Apparat X Anja
You can't go wrong with that combination

fold down your hands
give me a sigh
put down your lies

lay down next to me
don't listen when I scream
bury your doubts and fall asleep

find out I was was just a bad dream

let the bed sheet soak up my tears
and watch the only way out disappear
don't tell me why
kiss me goodbye

for neither ever nor never
goodbye
neither ever nor never
goodbye

Lately

Where did the wind in my sails go?

A bit of old news

It's a bit of old news, but my camera broke, so no pictures for a while.
My dad and I went to the Ital-dag, even though I don't really have a close connection with italian bikes, sometimes you need an excuse to go for a ride.
Ralph made some pictures, also at the parking lot, and I really liked this one, the state of my dad's Oudshoorn BMW at the moment:
Behind it, my R90/6 joe-bar caferacer, compare the size.

Pears!

I planted peach, plum and pear trees in my backyard around 3 years ago.
One tree each.
The pear tree was the biggest of the three when planted but it half died.....
I was bummed but decided to let it regrow from the 2-foot nub that was left.

Today I was in the yard and I saw a half ant eaten pear on the ground.
My first thought- what are the neighbors doing...argh..
THEN I realized it was from my tree.
I looked up and about 10 foot up on the tallest branch there were two more!
