Padlocks and steel

A few locks arrived in the mail today.

Miller elephant lock.
Slightly larger than the one I have.
I think there were 3 sizes....

Crusader.
Looks pickable....

Goliath 8 lever with key...
Not Eagle Lock Co.....

Corbin lock, newer.

Kangaroo lock.
This thing is super skinny....

Electric start delete caps, Shadow handlebars, seat mounts, sissy bars...
They all look like this at one point in their lives......
Moyou approved.

The come up

     You just never know.
I love these things.  They are hollow inside.
You fill them with water and they slowly leak into the soil of a houseplant.....
This one is 2-3x the size of anything I have and it's an owl.....perfect.

Any excuse I can get to mix skateboarding with motorcycles.
These will be used to rubber mount my seat.
I hope it helps.  Thanks-->RISE

Eagle 8 lever locks

Still cold from shipping, Mammoth joins the family of eight lever locks.

Goliath joined last week but it's arrival was overshadowed by the loss of it's key.
The corner of the package proved no match for the rough sea of mail it was shipped in.
Reimbursement was sent post haste so hard feelings have been spared.

Honda CB360 charging system updgrade

Time to upgrade the charging system in Jessy's CB360.
Simple swap.
Rick's Motorsport Electrics.
www.ricksmotorsportelectrics.com
 Impact.
Side covers before they both were removed.
Dare to compare.
New stator installed in the cover.
There is no notch on these to use when setting the timing and tappets...
I notched the top left lobe in the center and marked it with a sharpie.
I hope whoever tunes this bike in the future can figure it out.
Regulator-Rectifier combo.

Ready to ride.

This process took about an hour.
At idle I was getting 12.9 volts to the battery.
Stock CB360 charging systems I have worked with don't reach that at 5000rpm...

Cinnamon Rolls

Sunday Lunch.
Vegan Cinnamon rolls and rice milk.

1966 Honda CL160 run Part 2: The clean up.

Moyou supervising the tear down and organizing of parts into totes.

Tons of good parts on this CL160.......
I think I am going to set it up for AMA racing with just enough light to be legal.

 Perfect Dirt.
I will go see Gary on this one.

I would have bought just the CL160 for the price I paid.
These gold snowflake rims were the icing on the cake.
Came with the triple tree and all parts.
35mm forks......hmm......

I am going to take a few things off this Suzuki GN400 engine....
The exhaust will be reworked to lengthen the Pony header.
All the brake components will be saved for use with the snowflake rims.
Covers, levers, and engine stripped and probably........sad to say but.....--->ebay.

1966 Honda CL160 run Part 1

Getting up before the sun.

Still half awake.

Got it all loaded.
Listened to flat track racing stories.

Made it back in time to see these two.

Time to unload.
1966 CL160 without a front rim (otherwise complete).
Suzuki GN400 thumper (for the rims and triple tree - the rest is for ebay).
Mike also gave me extra parts from an XS650 and other random bikes.

Thanks again, M. Davis.

CB360 fired right up

No really.
It did.

Turned these batteries into 75 dollars of credit at the autoparts store....

4 day late gasket.
And a lock without a key...come on.

Carbs, covers, timing, gaps, whatever else....done.

Cam chain and tappets good.

Why do my bikes all have this problem?

Headers on.

I.V. set up.

Moyou is bored.

Adrenaline.
Right carb float needs adjusted.  . .
