Xe Máy Độ-Xe Máy Độc: Christina's Honda C110

Randoms

Garden is getting red.
Picked over 80 yesterday.

Used my pipe bender to make the side cover mountable on this Christina's C110.
Oil change and electronics check too.

Months.
Months....
Finally the white wall's come in.  Not the same tread that I ordered but at this point I just want to ride my baby dream so I don't care.......Tire night!
When I look at all the pictures from midohio, i get overwhelmed.....I will be creating a few posts for it.....sometime.

Rockers Reunion 2012

Rolling seven deep.
Ladies holdin' their own.
 Tons of bikes.
Lots of new junk that seemed out of place...
....and paint jobs that should not have been.
I know it's all personal preference but old bikes just look better old most of the time.

One of the only harley's I actually like.

 Overdone paint?
You decide.

Ariel colt / XL350 hybrid = The pony

Trust and believe.

I got the Ariel colt frame with the XL350 engine in it back from Ardcore.

Rebuilt the Ariel forks with bits I got from Draganfly.

Forks all done.

Jackshaft.

Cleared out this Honda C110 that I built for Christina last season and moved my 1965 Honda 150 Benly in its place.  Chinese 90cc semiautomatic piranha engine in it.

Garage night every night lately

Gunnar finished the first round of rust remover and took the forks off for inspection
cleaning up a little on the wire wheel
I love that I don't really have to do anything for him, just show him once and let him figure it out.
This is how he wanted to do it.  Stoked!
The wiring and chopping on Christina's C110 is almost done.  Cut out the kidney to make room for the battery.  Put in a switch and fuse, add some mounts and it is ready to roll again.  I rebuilt the petcock today too. Too much gas work the last two days.  My brain is kinda fried.
Moyou hasn't gotten enough attention lately.  Couldn't have her out tonight because of all the wire brushing and grinding.....tomorrow we play!

Bikes and more bikes and Mikuni carbs....

Weekend of bikes and translation

Grant came over last night and we put new shorty shocks and smaller turn signals on his bike.  The cb5000/550's look so much better with shorter shocks...lines baby, lines.
Christina and I were going to go on a dream ride (both 60's Honda's) and of all things it was her brand new carb that messed up.......
I think I hate Mikuni carbs.....maybe not though.  Custom tool.....

Shawna's Vroom (Honda C110 Sport 50)

Christina's is up and running, Zach's lady Shawna got one too!  Tank was pretty clean, needs the normal, engine was shot...........soo......
We swap~!  Second time around makes it twice as easy.
Still need the exhaust to make run and ride.
This is Shawna test driving at Major Taylor.
Still waiting on the rectifier/regulator for both bikes so we can run lights and batteries.
A few more modifications around the corner too.......

Honda C110 90cc Piranha Engine Upgrade

Bought this bike as a mutt anyway so we decided to swap out the already wrong c100 engine (with the kickstart rod broken off) and swap in a 90cc semi-auto Piranha engine.
Here are the parts!
The engine/tank-less frame looks so sad...
All mounted up!  I actually got the tank on and the wiring figured out too (has spark!) but the c110 exhaust wouldn't fit.  I have to get an aftermarket one.  The lights are just running off the stator right now and I would like to get a battery in here so it's more safe to run at night (in case of break down).  Want to add a kill switch and I need to modify the brake lever/ footrests to fit the wider engine.  The slide throttle is not working well either....although it is more aesthetically pleasing, I would like to switch it up and clean up the handlebars.  IF all this gets done and it is still warm, new tires/tubes will be a must.
Vroom Vroom soon I hope!
